The Transcepta Virtual Printer is an automated method of document submission along with EDI and email. This software electronically sends your documents to Transcepta through the same methods used for standard printing. To submit using this functionality, you will select the "Print" option for your document and choose the Virtual Printer as your printing device. The Virtual Printer driver can be downloaded through your “Settings” in the Transcepta Supplier Portal:
The print driver may be installed on as many computers as you would like. However, each computer must have access to the Internet and must be running one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Vista 32-bit (x86)
- Windows Vista 64-bit (x64)
- Windows 7 32-bit (x86)
- Windows 7 64-bit (x64)
- Windows 8 32-bit
- Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit
- Windows 10 32-bit
- Windows 11
- Windows Server 2008 32-bit
- Windows Server 2008 64-bit
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2016
Each time you run the installation program, you will be asked to enter your email address and password. You should use the same email address and password used to sign into the Transcepta Supplier Portal.
If more than one person in your company needs to submit invoices, we recommend you install the Transcepta Virtual Printer software only once on your server. Then, use the printer sharing capabilities on Windows to make the printer available to anyone who needs it. We recommend you utilize the security features in Windows to ensure unauthorized users do not have access to the printer.
