What submission formats are available?
Web Entry Submission (Transcepta Supplier Portal)
For submission through web entry, you will create your invoices using the Transcepta Supplier Portal.
By choosing email submission, you can submit your documents to Transcepta in a variety of file formats through email: CSV, DOC, DOCX, EDI, PCL, PDF, RTF, TXT, XLS, XLSX, XML, or cXML. You can include multiple document files in one email without exceeding the file size limit of 10mb, and the files must be attached rather than pasted into the body of the email.
Virtual Printer Submission
The Virtual Printer is added and used in the same way as a standard printer, with the document being “printed” into Transcepta’s system. The link to download the Virtual Printer can be found in the "Settings" tab of the Transcepta Supplier Portal.
If you have an established EDI process, you may submit your documents via SFTP, FTP, or FTPS in any of the following file formats: CSV, DOC, DOCX, EDI, PCL, PDF, RTF, TXT, XLS, XLSX, XML, or cXML.
How do I submit sample documents?
For all automated submission formats (Email, Virtual Printer, and EDI), suppliers are required to submit an initial document sample for review by the supplier mapping team. This will be requested at time of registration.
What happens if my sample does not meet the submission requirements?
You will receive an email from our support team detailing any missing information. If no fields are available for a certain piece of information, you can add the information to any configurable field (e.g., Bill To/Ship To or Notes fields) within the document.
